(new thread.)(Archive http://e47.cccd9.net/ratatsea/)You pick up the strange chain weapon and get a nostalgic feeling. You remember a little rat pup with a rope tied to a rubber ball and a rounded down stick of wood. Some how you know that little kid is you, playing... playing something... or pretending to be someone... You can't seem to remember anything other then your young self, running through a yard... maybe your yard or a neighbors... You seem happy in the memory though."Are you okay sir?" Asks the clerk. You blink away the memory and nod, saying your fine. You then offer him 50 silver for the chain weapon. He thinks it over for a moment and then nods. Your money bag is now 50 silver lighter but you now have a weapon.

This is our last day on the island, right?Go and get all the money you stashed in that tree stump if you didnt get it already. Also, even though we already said bye to the doe family, go and say bye again. They might be looking for you some day for some reason, and it'd probably would piss them off if they didn't find you.Say bye to them, just because we're so goddamn nice.

I second this.Girl can buy better thing for her mom with money.
Just ask her where she got the flowers from, if you want to bring any to lisha and the does. The little girl might as well just want to bring her mom something that she got / made on her own. Also, little kids tend to say "No" even if you offer them 500'000 bucks for something like flowers.Don't try to argue with her, ask where she got the pretty flowers from. Don't waste your time.

Oh and, she might as well just switch into sudden little-kid-war-siren mode. And you don't want to look like a dick to a little kid, since that's what'll happen if people see you next to a bawwing and/or angry kid.We might as well come back to the island later.

If you want to give lisha some flowers, ask where the kid got hers from.If not, leave the kid alone and proceed to lisha.

>>1945571 Oh well ... sad to see it go even though I never participated in it either (I always seemed to be in 'catch up' mode).I still have my own quest/story thing I was working on. It'd be a bit more sci-fi ish and less 'quest to get in all the girl's pants' ish though. I still need to flesh out a number of characters .. likes, dislikes, motives, hidden agendas, that sort of thing.

Gay blacksmith tell them to keep noise down from his cabin next door. After a small stop on an another little island on the way, rat remember a little more about the fire on the ship.He was locked away in a room with 3 other criminals. One of whom was a disturbed Sheep who "liked to dye his wool red." The sheep killed another prisoner with a lock pick he snuck in, and when the guard went to check he tore out the guards throat, getting blood everywhere, including on rat. The broken latrine falling onto the dry straw that lined the floor in the prisoners cell spread quickly. The sheep then tried to kill rat, but rat managed to choke him to death with the chain of his shackles. Rat then used the lock pick to free himself from his shackles. While rat was trying to escape something exploded in the ships hold and then when rat hit his head.
